About the role
You will partner with JFrog customers to architect and implement robust CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms, leveraging the full capabilities of JFrog products alongside Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and other cloud-native technologies. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, working directly with development and DevOps professionals to guide them through their entire software delivery transformation. You will translate complex business requirements into streamlined, liquid software workflows that accelerate innovation and ensure reliable, secure deployments. Your contributions will directly influence the JFrog product ecosystem by feeding real-world customer feedback into the feature roadmap and development cycle. You will champion industry best practices, promoting security, compliance, and operational excellence across every engagement. What you'll do
- Orchestrate the design and construction of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms using JFrog Artifactory, Pipelines, and complementary technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Partner with Sales engineering, Customer Success, and Support teams to diagnose challenges and deliver solutions that ensure seamless adoption of the JFrog platform throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Architect and implement binary repositories and artifact management strategies, configuring pipelines for npm, Java, Pypi, and other ecosystems to support efficient distribution to edge devices.
- Mentor and train members of the open source community and JFrog customer base, delivering workshops and guidance that maximize the value derived from DevOps tooling.
- Analyze customer workflows to influence the strategic direction and feature enhancements of JFrog tools, ensuring product evolution aligns with real-world needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the broader DevOps landscape and emerging CI/CD technologies to maintain cutting-edge expertise and recommend optimal toolchains.
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with client stakeholders through consistent communication, active listening, and reliable follow-through.
- Provide expert-level support for server-side software deployments, covering both on-premise data center environments and multi-cloud infrastructure scenarios.
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible to automate provisioning and ensure consistency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues, performing deep dives into pipeline failures and performance bottlenecks.
- Document solutions, best practices, and architectural decisions to create reusable knowledge assets for internal and external audiences.
- Travel to customer sites or virtual collaboration spaces as needed to facilitate workshops, sprints, and strategic planning sessions.
- Maintain strict adherence to security and compliance standards, ensuring that all implemented pipelines meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously refine your own skill set through hands-on experimentation with new platforms, languages, and deployment methodologies.
Requirements
- Bring 5 to 7 or more years of professional experience with Continuous Integration tools, including CI servers, Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and NPM.
- Demonstrate the ability to build software delivery pipelines that integrate Docker, npm, Java, Pypi, and other ecosystems using modern DevOps tools and binary repositories.
- Show a solid grasp of infrastructure and operations concepts, including storage, networking, compute resources, security controls, and public, on-premise, and cloud environments.
- Possess hands-on experience with Continuous Deployment and Delivery automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Maintain mandatory hands-on experience with Linux operating systems across diverse distributions and configurations.
- Hold mandatory hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal abilities and a customer-service-oriented mindset when interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Display experience supporting server-side software in both on-premise data centers and cloud-hosted deployments.
- Value a background in Software Architecture design and product development as a significant professional asset.
