GenAI & Competitive Intelligence Engineer
Job description
About the role
JFrog seeks a GenAI & Competitive Intelligence Engineer to lead artificial intelligence initiatives that shape how knowledge is gathered, analyzed, and shared. This role blends technical depth with product thinking to create systems that turn fragmented data into decisive organizational advantages. You will guide projects from raw idea to company wide implementation while collaborating closely with technology and business stakeholders. The position operates in a high impact environment where speed, precision, and reliability are essential. You will work in Tel Aviv or Netanya, Israel, in a full time capacity with compensation aligned at 90,000 USD to 120,000 USD annually. This role reports into the Competitive Intelligence organization and interfaces directly with enterprise technology and data teams to ensure strategic alignment.
What you'll do
You will architect and operate AI driven pipelines that transform internal and external data into competitive signals that inform market positioning. Designing robust workflows that gather, enrich, and distribute insights is central to the role, requiring meticulous attention to data quality and timeliness. You will translate ambiguous business problems into structured solution designs and oversee their delivery across multiple teams with varying levels of technical literacy. You will build user facing interfaces and dashboards that ensure stakeholders receive the right insight at the right time, enabling faster and more confident decisions. Owning end to end responsibility for selected projects means you will coordinate resources, manage timelines, track dependencies, and drive adoption among key business units. Evaluating emerging AI tools, frameworks, and methodologies will be part of your mandate to improve team effectiveness, solution resilience, and time to insight. Ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability for LLM based systems is a core duty, involving monitoring, tuning, and iterative optimization of production workloads. You will work with IS, IT, and data science colleagues to align technical solutions to enterprise objectives, balancing innovation with governance and risk management. Mapping and understanding the software delivery landscape, including development, security, and operations flows, will inform your technical decisions and highlight integration opportunities. You will maintain active fluency in Python and at least one additional language such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Rust to prototype solutions and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree or higher in related technical fields is required as a foundational qualification for the role. You must have four or more years of hands on experience developing and deploying GenAI architectures in production settings to demonstrate proven execution. Deep familiarity with cloud and cloud native patterns is expected, including practical work with major cloud providers and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. You must be capable of investigating complex systems, reading source code and documentation, and synthesizing findings into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences. Strong written and verbal communication in English is essential for coordinating with cross functional partners and articulating technical concepts to non technical stakeholders. Thriving in a fast moving, ambiguous environment and adapting quickly to shifting priorities is necessary to deliver consistent results under uncertainty. A methodical approach to problem solving, including hypothesis driven analysis and rigorous validation, is required to ensure the integrity of competitive insights. You must be comfortable working with limited direction, making sound judgments based on available information, and escalating risks promptly to protect project outcomes. Reliability, ownership, and a bias for action are expected as you manage multiple workstreams and balance competing demands in a dynamic organization. Compliance with internal policies, data security standards, and confidentiality agreements is mandatory to maintain the trust of the organization and its partners.
