What you'll do
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise a team of senior product managers to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Shape the long-term product strategy for the Artifactory flagship offering, defining the vision that guides all development efforts.
- Utilize customer feedback, usage metrics, and market research to guide product design, prioritization, and continuous iteration.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial concept and discovery through development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
- Partner with internal technical, business, and platform teams to ensure a unified development experience and seamless execution.
- Establish clear priorities, track key milestones, and proactively manage business risks to meet aggressive organizational goals and deadlines.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, user behaviors, and opportunities for product differentiation and improvement.
- Communicate product roadmaps and rationale to executive leadership, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Champion best-in-class UI/UX research methodologies to validate product concepts and refine user interactions over time.
- Drive the adoption of B2D product strategy principles to ensure Artifactory meets the needs of developers and DevOps professionals effectively.
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to break down silos and accelerate the delivery of high-value features.
- Identify gaps in the current product offering and propose new capabilities that address emerging customer needs and competitive threats.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to gather direct feedback and validate product decisions.
- Ensure all product initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the broader company objectives and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing product managers, including proven success in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Minimum 6 years of total product management experience within the technology sector, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Proven history of managing large-scale products used by thousands of customers, demonstrating experience with complex product ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience in web UI/UX research and design processes, including user interviews, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development, performance management, and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and how product management integrates with engineering and operations.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Background in Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Technical Support, providing credibility and empathy with the developer audience.

- Solid understanding of B2D product strategy, including how to engage technical buyers and influencers in the purchasing process.
- Experience with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
- Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems to better collaborate with engineering teams.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives for various audiences.
- Strong business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L ownership for the product portfolio.
