What you'll do
Architect and develop scalable backend services that power AI-driven decision-making and orchestration for device management workflows. Implement advanced machine learning models and integrate them into production-grade systems using Python and modern data pipelines. Design and build agentic frameworks that enable autonomous operations, allowing security workflows to self-execute based on contextual intelligence. Collaborate closely with product managers and security researchers to refine requirements and ensure technical solutions align with strategic goals. Optimize system performance and reliability by applying best practices in distributed computing and infrastructure as code. Lead technical design discussions and create detailed specifications for complex features that span multiple service boundaries. Mentor junior engineers by providing code reviews, technical guidance, and hands-on coaching on AI and agentic development patterns. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency. Drive the implementation of observability and monitoring solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of AI services in production. Contribute to the open-source community and internal technology standards by documenting processes and sharing knowledge across the organization.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development with a demonstrated focus on AI technologies and complex system design. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ with a strong ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools, including TensorFlow or PyTorch, and a solid understanding of model training and deployment workflows. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated history of building and maintaining large-scale software systems that handle high concurrency and demanding performance requirements. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug intricate issues in distributed environments and AI-driven applications. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams and articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. A proven track record of working in Agile environments, delivering incremental value through iterative development and continuous feedback. Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Nice to have
Familiarity with Apple development environments and tools, including Xcode, Swift, and related ecosystems that intersect with device management. Experience in developing agentic systems or autonomous applications that involve multi-step reasoning and tool integration.
