The Sales Development Representative for Japan will focus on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities across the Japanese market. This remote position works closely with the sales team to build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects. The representative will engage with potential customers to understand their technology needs and introduce Jamf solutions that fit their organization. Success in this role requires curiosity about customer challenges and a drive to connect the right solutions with the right businesses. What you'll do
- Research and identify potential customers in the Japanese market who use Apple devices in their organizations.
- Conduct outbound outreach through email and phone to introduce Jamf products to prospective clients.
- Qualify leads by understanding their business requirements and determining fit with Jamf solutions.
- Collaborate with account executives to develop targeted outreach strategies for specific industries.
- Maintain and update customer relationship management records with accurate prospect information.
- Attend virtual meetings and product demonstrations to support the sales process.
- Track and report on daily and weekly activity metrics to management.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Jamf products and how they address customer challenges.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts across Japan.
- Participate in team training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to align outreach efforts with broader campaign goals.
- Follow up on inbound inquiries and route them to the appropriate sales team members.
- Nurture early-stage prospects through follow-up communications and relevant content sharing to move them through the sales funnel.
- Support the sales team by preparing customized one-pagers and brief summaries for prospect presentations and meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience in a business or technology field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- At least one year of experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
- Familiarity with Apple products and enterprise technology environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage a consistent pipeline of prospect activities.
- Comfort with remote work and self-directed time management in a distributed team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person meetings or company events.
- Interest in learning about mobile device management and endpoint security technologies.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and multiple projects need attention simultaneously.
- Enthusiasm for technology and a genuine interest in helping organizations get more value from their Apple investments.

- Basic understanding of SQL or query writing to pull reports from databases when needed.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and lead scoring methodologies used in B2B environments.
