What you'll do

• Design and implement AI-driven features to improve user experience across our product suite, ensuring that each feature meets defined quality gates and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows, facilitating smooth adoption and minimal disruption to current operations.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.
• Troubleshoot and optimize AI algorithms to ensure high performance and reliability under varying loads and data conditions, applying analytical methods to resolve complex issues.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and tools, assessing their potential value and compatibility with our existing architecture and long-term roadmap.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for AI components, enabling clear communication with stakeholders and supporting future maintenance efforts.
• Work with data scientists and researchers to prototype new machine learning models, providing engineering feedback that shapes feasible and effective implementations.
• Ensure that all developed solutions comply with security and privacy guidelines relevant to handling sensitive device and user data in enterprise environments.
• Monitor deployed AI systems in production, identifying anomalies and driving improvements based on observed behavior and user feedback.
• Mentor junior engineers on AI-related topics, promoting a deeper understanding of machine learning concepts and responsible application within the product suite.
• Coordinate with DevOps teams to streamline the deployment pipeline for AI features, focusing on reliability, reproducibility, and efficient resource utilization.
• Contribute to the definition of technical specifications for new AI initiatives, translating business goals into actionable engineering tasks.
• Support the testing lifecycle for AI features, including unit, integration, and performance testing, to validate functionality and robustness.
• Engage in technical planning sessions to prioritize features and allocate resources effectively based on project constraints and strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, providing a foundational understanding of computational principles and engineering practices.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning, demonstrating a track record of delivering complex projects.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, showing the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-structured code.
• Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, enabling the development and deployment of advanced models.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, including services related to compute, storage, and machine learning workloads.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team, navigating ambiguity and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies, including version control, testing, and continuous integration practices.
• Commitment to writing unit tests and maintaining code quality, ensuring that new features do not introduce regressions and remain sustainable over time.
