What you'll do
- Design and deliver comprehensive tactical training programs tailored to the needs of diverse clients, including law enforcement, military, and private security organizations.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the skills and knowledge of participants, ensuring that training is effectively addressing their needs.
- Develop instructional materials, including manuals, presentations, and practical exercises, to enhance the learning experience.
- Facilitate hands-on training sessions in various environments, ensuring that participants can apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate with other instructors and subject matter experts to continuously improve training content and methodologies.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of trainees, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in tactical operations and training techniques to ensure that programs remain relevant and effective.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and skill development among participants.
- Participate in the development of marketing materials and promotional strategies to attract new clients and expand training offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and feedback to inform future training initiatives.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your own skills and knowledge as a tactical instructor.
- Represent Itps at industry events and conferences, showcasing our training programs and building relationships with potential clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tactical operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a relevant field such as law enforcement, military, or private security.
- Strong instructional skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively teach complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and motivating participants.
- Ability to develop and implement training programs that meet the specific needs of various organizations.
- Familiarity with current best practices in tactical training and instructional design.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple training sessions and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using training technologies and tools, including simulation software and multimedia presentations.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required for training sessions.
- Certification in relevant tactical training programs or instructional methodologies is a plus.
