What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive flight tests on rotary wing aircraft to assess performance, handling qualities, and system functionality.

- Support the integration of new technologies and systems into existing rotary wing platforms through rigorous testing and evaluation.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with advancements in flight testing methodologies and rotary wing technology.
- Contribute to safety assessments and risk management processes to enhance the overall safety of flight operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during flight testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, sharing knowledge and best practices in flight testing and data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in flight testing, specifically with rotary wing aircraft.
- Strong understanding of flight dynamics, aerodynamics, and aircraft systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and tools, such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and guidelines related to flight testing and aviation safety.
- Valid pilot's license is preferred but not mandatory; however, a strong understanding of pilot operations is essential.
- Experience with flight test instrumentation and data acquisition systems is a plus.
