About the role
You will define and execute the talent and operational strategy for a high-growth technology company from the ground up. This role owns the full employee lifecycle, ensuring that recruiting, development, and compliance operate seamlessly. You will leverage advanced internal AI systems to automate and enhance every people process. No task is considered too large or too small, as you manage everything from C-suite recruiting to office refreshments. You will build the systems and culture that allow the team to perform at their highest level every single day.

What you'll do
- Define the end-to-end talent strategy and build the operational systems that scale with company growth.
- Lead the preparation and direction of relevant sections of team meetings to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Oversee the configuration and implementation of relevant AI applications to automate recruiting and administrative workflows.
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process including sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes daily, conducting recruiter calls, assisting in scheduling interviews, compiling feedback, and managing candidate communications.
- Develop deep, direct relationships with existing team members, providing them with operational support and morale leadership.
- Compile performance data and help deliver actionable, structured feedback to team members in a constructive manner.
- Design and execute a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience that ensures new hires integrate into the culture and systems rapidly and that departing employees exit smoothly.
- Maintain and update all employee records, contracts, and documentation within the HRIS to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
- Own company compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws such as EEO and FLSA, and manage all workplace safety guidelines.
- Maintain and regularly update the Employee Handbook so that company policies evolve alongside business needs and culture.
- Formalize the performance management process, driving the schedule for annual or bi-annual reviews, goal-setting, and career development tracking.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, providing a trusted, confidential space to resolve interpersonal conflicts or performance issues.
- Support the administration of benefits, including annual open enrollment, healthcare plans, retirement options like 401k, and wellness perks.
- Own the daily office rhythm by managing supplies, mail and packages, guest experience, meeting room readiness, and general organization.
- Coordinate all vendors and service providers such as cleaning, repairs, internet and IT support, building management, and security.
- Manage office inventory and purchasing to ensure the environment remains seamless and fully equipped.
- Develop and maintain office guidelines and create clear documentation and signage to make compliance easy for everyone.
- Manage and coordinate all internal, external, and office-hosted events from initial concept to final execution.
- Handle event logistics including coordination with internal and external parties, catering, scheduling, RSVPs, and day-of execution including set-up and breakdown.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience is mandatory.
- You must be a self starter who is motivated to learn constantly in a fast-paced environment.
- You must be a proven problem solver who is not afraid to get your hands dirty with operational tasks.
- You must be a swiss army knife capable of handling a multitude of different responsibilities simultaneously.
- You must be highly organized with the ability to manage timelines and organize complex information into actionable plans.
- You must have a creative mindset that generates innovative ideas for events and marketing campaigns while staying ahead of industry trends.
- You must be a proactive problem solver who can identify potential issues and deliver timely solutions before they escalate.
- You must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and build strong relationships.
- You must be highly organized to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.
- You must be tech-savvy and comfortable working with various software and tools related to marketing, event planning, content creation, and data management.

- You must be able to work onsite in New York, NY, USA for 5 days a week in the NoHo office.

Practical notes
This is a full-time position based onsite in New York, NY, USA at the NoHo office for 5 days a week. The total compensation package consists of a base salary plus a bonus, with a total value of 125k. The successful candidate must be available to start promptly and manage a high volume of diverse responsibilities without delay. Travel is not required for this role. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
