About the role
Indian Army Internship Program (IAIP): Digital Media and Strategic Communication. This internship positions you within the digital and strategic communication ecosystem of the Indian Army, where you will translate complex information into coherent narratives while managing outreach across digital platforms. Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication with specialization in any discipline.
- Demonstrate capability in handling complex information sets and translating them into structured narratives.
- Exhibit a structured approach to problem-solving and a commitment to meeting strict deadlines.
- Be available for the entire 75-day period beginning on 17-Aug-2026 without exception or interruption.
- Provide evidence of relevant project experience or academic work that intersects with digital media and strategic communication.
- Show strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in high-stakes environments.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills aligned with professional standards.
- Understand the importance of confidentiality and protocol adherence in sensitive institutional settings.

Practical notes
Office hours are fixed from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. The stipend is disbursed after successful completion of all deliverables; interns with attendance below 75% will not qualify. Police verification is a prerequisite and must be submitted before the joining date. On-site workstations are provided; personal smartphones and laptops are not permitted within the premises. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all materials and discussions encountered during the assignment. Any breach of protocol will result in immediate termination of the internship.
