What you'll do

• Create automated SOAR playbooks that trigger immediate isolation of compromised systems and block malicious addresses in real time.
• Conduct thorough analysis of security events to identify patterns, indicators of compromise, and potential threats to defense infrastructure.

Requirements

• You must hold a Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering with focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning or equivalent qualification.
• Candidates specializing in Cyber Forensics and information Security also qualify based on relevant expertise.
• A Master of Technology or Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science with Cyber Security specialization is accepted for consideration.
• Graduates with B Sc Honors in any discipline may apply if they satisfy all other eligibility conditions and demonstrate required competencies.
• Full availability for the entire 75 day period is mandatory to ensure continuity and effective contribution to project goals.
• Demonstrated interest and relevant capability in the project subject area are essential for successful participation and learning.
• You must be able to work within the fixed schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday as required for team coordination.
• Strict adherence to defense sector protocols, compliance standards, and confidentiality agreements is mandatory at all times.
• A valid government issued photo identity may be required for verification and access control purposes.
• Physical and medical compliance as per Indian Army standards is necessary for onsite participation at designated facilities.
• Willingness to undergo police verification and background checks before the commencement of internship duties.
• Commitment to maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of all systems and data handled during the internship.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, work under guidance, and contribute effectively in a structured military environment.

Nice to have

• Prior exposure to security operations centers, SIEM platforms, or real time monitoring tools is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker, and orchestration via Kubernetes is preferred.
• Experience with cloud service models, particularly AWS, and related security services is a beneficial skill.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks, OpenAI models, and LangChain libraries will support advanced task execution.
• Understanding of Hugging Face models and their application in language understanding and security contexts is valued.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React and Vue, along with JavaScript, enhances full stack contribution potential.
• Exposure to Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms is preferred.
• Previous participation in capture the flag events, vulnerability assessments, or security research is an added advantage.

Practical notes

• Working hours are fixed from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday for the duration of the internship.
• Stipend payments occur after successful completion of the internship period and all required deliverables.
• Interns with under 75 percent attendance will be ineligible for stipend disbursement.
• Police verification is mandatory before joining and must be completed within the specified timelines.
• Accommodation is not provided by the organization, and interns must arrange their own lodging and related expenses.
• Personal smartphones or laptops are restricted on site; dedicated workstations will be supplied for all intern activities.
• This internship is full time and requires in person presence at the designated location in Delhi.
