About the role
The Indian Army Internship Program offers a structured pathway into defense technology for selected candidates. In this role, you will own the design of systems that translate natural language requests into actionable defense queries. You will configure secure, isolated execution environments using containerization technologies to ensure operational stability. The position requires building robust reasoning chains that follow established architectural patterns and integration frameworks. You will connect directly with language model libraries and manage their lifecycle within the deployment stack. Writing precise and optimized SQL statements against relational databases will be a core daily responsibility. You will define clear interface contracts between components and ensure seamless interoperability across services. Adaptability to emerging tools and strict adherence to enterprise standards will be critical for success. Completion of the full 75-day internship period is mandatory to receive program credits and stipend.

- Adhere to strict attendance and performance metrics to ensure successful program completion.

Requirements
- You must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as B.Tech or B.E from an accredited institution.
- Your specialization must be in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Relevant M.Tech specializations are also accepted provided they align with the project focus.
- You must demonstrate solid proficiency in Python programming to implement core logic and integrations.
- Strong SQL capabilities are necessary for writing complex queries and managing relational database operations.
- Foundational knowledge of Natural Language Processing concepts and techniques is expected.
- You must have a clear understanding of Large Language Models and Generative AI principles and applications.
- Competence with relational database structures, schema design, and query optimization is required.
- Effective interaction with REST endpoints and API services is essential for system connectivity.
- Rapid assimilation of new AI tools, libraries, and frameworks is essential to keep pace with project needs.
- Focus on enterprise applications and automation drives all implementation decisions and design choices.
- You must be available for the entire internship duration without breaks or extended leaves.
- A strong interest in the specified project area related to defense AI and intelligent assistants is necessary.

Practical notes
- Working hours are fixed from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM on all scheduled working days.
- Stipend distribution occurs after successful program completion and verification of all deliverables.

- Police verification is a prerequisite for onboarding and must be completed before the start date.
- Personal electronic devices such as smartphones and laptops are restricted; workstations will be supplied by the program.
