What you'll do

• Collaborate closely with game designers and developers to conceptualize and create 2D art assets that align with project goals and artistic direction.
• Develop character designs that are visually appealing and fit within the game's narrative and style.
• Create detailed backgrounds and environments that enhance gameplay and immerse players in the game world.
• Produce high-quality illustrations for promotional materials, including social media graphics, banners, and marketing campaigns.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for new game features and visual elements.
• Revise and refine artwork based on feedback from team members and stakeholders, ensuring the final product meets quality standards.
• Maintain organized files and documentation of all artwork, ensuring easy access and version control.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques, incorporating new styles and methods into your work to keep our art fresh and engaging.
• Assist in creating animations and visual effects as needed, collaborating with animators to ensure a cohesive visual experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 2D artist in the gaming or entertainment industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your artistic skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant tools.
• Solid understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and concepts.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for gaming and a keen interest in the latest trends in game art and design.

Nice to have

• Experience with animation software such as Spine or After Effects.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software and the ability to create assets for 3D environments.
