About the role
In this pivotal leadership role, you will be at the intersection of marketing, data engineering, and product innovation. Your mission is to elevate the current MarTech infrastructure into a robust, high-performing system by integrating various tools such as CRM, CDP, marketing automation, analytics, and AI-driven personalization solutions. This position demands a collaborative approach, working closely with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure that marketing functions efficiently while adhering to compliance requirements.

What you'll do
- Oversee the entire MarTech ecosystem, including the assessment, selection, implementation, and enhancement of platforms that facilitate customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and attribution.
- Formulate a comprehensive marketing data strategy that integrates a unified customer view across B2C consumers, B2B enterprise partners, and B2G agency relationships by linking CRM, CDP, and data warehouse components.
- Create and manage marketing automation workflows, nurture sequences, triggered campaigns, and segmentation strategies across email, SMS, in-app notifications, and paid advertising channels.
- Develop and sustain attribution and measurement frameworks utilizing privacy-compliant models to identify growth drivers throughout multi-touch funnels.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to establish data pipelines, event tracking schemas, and identity resolution mechanisms that inform marketing strategies.
- Evaluate and deploy AI and machine learning technologies for predictive lead scoring, churn analysis, personalization, and content enhancement.
- Ensure that all MarTech operations adhere to GDPR, CCPA, FedRAMP, and internal privacy and data governance protocols.
- Translate business objectives into technical requirements and effectively communicate technical limitations to executive leadership.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, or growth engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience with leading MarTech platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or Marketo.
- Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) like Segment or mParticle, as well as data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Knowledge of identity resolution, customer data integration, and user matching across anonymous, authenticated, and partner data sources.
- Experience in constructing marketing infrastructure in regulated or privacy-sensitive settings, with a strong understanding of handling personally identifiable information (PII).
- Proficiency in SQL and the ability to engage directly with data pipelines as a technical counterpart to engineers.
- Background in attribution modeling, including multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling.
- Demonstrated history of building and leading teams that bridge marketing and engineering disciplines.
- Skills in vendor management, including contract negotiation, build versus buy assessments, and governance of tool portfolios.
