Chief of Staff - Bay Area
Job description
About the role
This role is a prototype for every future hire at Human Agency, designed for a dynamic C-suite leader who wants to ride shotgun alongside an executive to accelerate their path to the top. You will own the messy, ambiguous problems that keep leaders up at night, acting as a human garbage disposal for high-stakes challenges across the business. You will operate with zero ego, no rigid job description, and the freedom to take out the trash, sweep the floors, and then run the board meeting without question. This is a floor-to-ceiling position where nothing is beneath you, and there is no ceiling above you, requiring you to move seamlessly between strategic board prep and ground-level execution. Success requires an AI-first mindset, a builder mentality with proof of shipped work, and the ability to thrive entirely on self-management without hand-holding or constant check-ins.
