Position Overview
Fresha seeks a Chief Financial Officer with extensive experience and strategic vision to guide a rapidly expanding global operation. The successful candidate will define financial strategy and drive international growth. This role requires comfort with fast-paced environments, autonomy in decision-making, and the ability to address complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities
You will design fiscal frameworks that align cash flow with marketplace expansion patterns. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and investor narratives while navigating rapid international scaling. Your leadership will safeguard financial integrity as the business extends across multiple continents.
Specific duties include championing revenue recognition practices for subscription and transaction-based income. You will orchestrate close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting across various jurisdictions. You will guide funding discussions, shaping capital structure in line with board expectations. Forging partner finance frameworks to support integrations with major tech platforms will be essential. Quantifying risk exposure through scenario modeling for currency and regulatory variables falls within scope. You will build dashboards that translate complex metrics into decisions for executive stakeholders. Oversight of vendor selection and contract terms to maximize cost efficiency is also required.
Professional Profile
You must hold at least 3 years of experience in a senior finance capacity. A demonstrated history of managing budgets for high-growth companies is necessary. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools is mandatory. Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom is required.
Preferred Experience
Background in AI, beauty, wellness, or self-care sectors is valued. Familiarity with marketplace models and subscription revenue structures provides distinct advantages.
Technical Expertise
Mastery of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is essential. Expertise in dashboards, stakeholder management, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management is required. Knowledge of audit, payroll, billing, tax, multi-entity accounting, IFRS, and GAAP is non-negotiable. What you'll do
- Architect the global financial strategy, translating marketplace scale and AI capabilities into sustainable profit frameworks and long-term shareholder value.
- Own the end-to-end financial lifecycle, integrating budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and investor storytelling into a cohesive narrative for stakeholders.
- Drive revenue recognition policies and close processes for a multi-entity, multi-currency environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance across jurisdictions.
- Lead capital structure decisions and fundraising initiatives, modeling outcomes and presenting compelling cases to the board and potential investors.

Requirements
- You must possess a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in senior finance roles within high-growth companies.
- You must demonstrate a proven ability to manage complex budgets and financial plans in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- You must have advanced expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools used to drive strategic decisions.
- You must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and hold the right to legally reside and work in the country.
- You must exhibit mastery over financial statement preparation, consolidation, and close cycles across multiple entities.
- You must have deep knowledge of audit processes, payroll administration, billing operations, tax compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
- You must be fluent in multi-entity accounting practices, as well as international standards such as IFRS and GAAP.
