Hudson River Trading is seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Recruiter to join our Campus Recruiting team in Singapore. In this role, you will build deep, long-term relationships with students and universities to ensure HRT consistently connects with the strongest emerging technical talent across the region. This position offers a high degree of autonomy, ownership, and direct impact on HRT's campus talent strategy, supported by a highly collaborative and global team. You will touch every aspect of campus recruiting, including talent attraction through sourcing, marketing, and events, as well as talent evaluation via interviews and offers, to bring outstanding candidates to HRT. What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end campus recruitment lifecycle for undergraduate and graduate roles in Singapore and across APAC campuses.
- Design and execute sourcing strategies to identify top technical talent using data-driven approaches and market mapping.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with university career services, faculty, and student organizations to strengthen HRT's employer brand.
- Plan, manage, and own all logistics for campus recruiting events, including workshops, info sessions, and career fairs from initial concept to execution.
- Conduct engaging on-campus interviews and assess candidate fit through structured evaluation techniques aligned with HRT's high standards.
- Partner closely with Recruiting Coordinators to streamline interview processes, manage candidate pipelines, and ensure timely offer delivery.
- Act as HRT's primary brand ambassador during campus visits, representing our culture, values, and commitment to excellence in every interaction.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to refine ideal candidate profiles and iterate on evaluation processes based on feedback and outcomes.
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics, including source of hire, time-to-fill, and candidate conversion rates, to continuously optimize strategies.
- Proactively identify emerging talent pools and develop targeted outreach initiatives to improve diversity and inclusion in our hiring pipeline.
- Coordinate closely with internship program stakeholders to support mentor matching, intern engagement, and performance feedback loops.
- Own stakeholder communications, providing regular updates to internal partners on pipeline progress, market insights, and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of experience in recruiting, university relations, program management, events management, or similar roles with demonstrated success.
- Demonstrate Mandarin proficiency as a significant asset in engaging with diverse candidate communities across APAC.
- Show deep understanding of recruiting pipelines for highly selective, technical, or academic talent within competitive environments.
- Exhibit strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, along with experience using analytics and reporting tools.
- Highlight exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills in every interaction.
- Prove ability to think analytically, with a process-oriented mindset and meticulous attention to detail in fast-moving situations.
- Demonstrate capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Show ability to manage multiple priorities, conflicting demands, and tight deadlines without compromising quality or accuracy.
