Job description
About the role
You own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the Support and Operational Productivity domain at HopSkipDrive, defining how we solve the most complex operational workflows for schools, caregivers, and drivers. You architect the customer experience for high-stakes, multi-stakeholder interactions, ensuring safety, reliability, and clarity are baked into every workflow. You partner deeply with engineering, operations, and design to translate messy, real-world problems into scalable software solutions that delight both internal teams and external customers. You lead the discovery, prioritization, and execution of initiatives that drive operational efficiency, reduce friction, and improve outcomes across the entire support lifecycle. You are the voice of the customer and the voice of the business, balancing qualitative insights with quantitative metrics to guide product decisions. You build and maintain the product narrative that aligns cross-functional stakeholders and keeps complex initiatives moving forward. You thrive in ambiguity, using data and empathy to make timely decisions in a fast-moving, mission-critical environment.

Operational Mindset: You have a deep respect for operations and the people who keep the business running, and you build products that support their well-being, efficiency, and safety.
Communication Skills: You write clearly, speak persuasively, and tailor your message to your audience, whether you are explaining tradeoffs to executives or guiding a new engineer through a complex workflow.
