What you'll do

• Lead the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies to enhance product quality and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, presenting findings to senior management.
• Train and mentor team members on quality assurance practices, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Manage customer complaints related to product quality, conducting investigations and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes, ensuring that the company remains compliant with all relevant standards.
• Lead root cause analysis efforts for non-conformances, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are taken.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including reports, procedures, and training materials.
• Participate in product development processes, providing input on quality considerations and requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in leading quality teams and managing quality improvement projects.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, such as FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Green Belt).
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Familiarity with statistical software and data analysis tools.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within quality assurance.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards relevant to our products.
