About the role
You will assume end-to-end responsibility for two teams within the Intralogistik domain, ensuring a seamless, safe, and efficient logistics operation on the shop floor. Your leadership will be defined by a hands-on mentality, a clear process focus, and the active development of your people through coaching and guidance. You will drive performance, foster a motivating team environment, and act as the key link between operational execution and cross-functional collaboration. This role empowers you to shape processes, implement sustainable improvements, and directly influence the reliability of the supply chain. Your decisions will have a direct impact on operational stability and continuous optimization efforts.
What you'll do
Steer and evaluate the performance of two intralogistics teams using relevant KPIs and structured reporting to identify optimization potential.
Plan and coordinate personnel and resource deployment to ensure efficient workflows and the achievement of operational targets.
Champion continuous process optimization by introducing new ideas and implementing sustainable improvement measures in collaboration with other functions.
Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards to guarantee smooth daily logistics operations.
Act as a hands-on leader who actively shapes operative processes and empowers team members to execute their responsibilities.
Foster a high-performance team culture based on motivation, appreciation, and targeted coaching for individual development.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a seamless supply chain and responsive logistics processes.
Analyze and interpret data using MS Office, Google Workspace, and tools like Grafana or Tableau to support data-driven decision-making.
Define and monitor resource requirements to align personnel deployment with operational needs and peak periods.
Drive the implementation of sustainable process improvements and ensure the stability of logistics operations.
Promote a culture of ownership, where team members are enabled to contribute ideas and participate in shaping workflows.
Maintain fluent communication in German and English to ensure clarity and alignment across all organizational levels.
Uphold the highest standards for work safety, quality, and process reliability in every logistical activity.
Support the development of an optimized factorized meal handling process where applicable.
Serve as the primary contact for logistics-related topics and ensure timely escalation and resolution of operational issues.
Requirements
Successfully completed degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Multiple years of leadership experience in food production, warehouse logistics, or distribution, with a solid understanding of logistical and operational processes.
Strong sense of responsibility for work safety, quality standards, process stability, and the performance of the teams you lead.
Confident handling of MS Office or Google Workspace, with experience in analyzing and interpreting key figures using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Grafana, or Tableau.
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style, with the ability to set priorities and make decisions in a dynamic environment.
Hands-on mentality with the ambition to actively shape operational processes, enable teams, and successfully implement changes.
Fluent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level for both).
Willingness to engage in shift work or flexible operational hours as required by the logistics environment.
Commitment to adhering to internal guidelines, safety regulations, and compliance requirements at all times.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and reliability.
