About the role

As a , you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to manage inventory levels and forecast demand to meet customer needs while minimizing waste. What you'll do

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing sales trends, historical data, and market conditions to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and production teams to align supply plans with business objectives and customer expectations.
Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring that stock is available when needed while minimizing excess inventory.
advanced planning software and tools to create and manage supply plans, adjusting as necessary based on changing demand patterns.
Identify potential supply chain disruptions and proactively implement strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring continuity of supply.
Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance, analyzing lead times, quality, and cost to ensure that we are working with the best partners.
Prepare and present reports on inventory status, supply chain performance, and demand forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and reducing costs, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the supply planning team.
Engage with external partners and suppliers to negotiate terms and conditions that align with our strategic goals.
Support the implementation of new technologies and processes that enhance supply chain operations and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably within the food or consumer goods industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with demand forecasting techniques and inventory optimization strategies.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to think critically under pressure.

Nice to have

Experience in the food industry or a similar fast-paced sector.
Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies and their application in supply chain processes.
Familiarity with sustainability practices in supply chain management.
Advanced Excel skills, including experience with data modeling and analysis.
Previous experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
