Harvey is constructing a computational layer for the legal sector, and the Innovation Product Manager, Australia will serve as the primary interface between this evolving platform and the region's most influential legal institutions. You will own the strategic translation of enterprise legal workflows into precise product specifications that guide the development of our AI platform. This position requires you to act as both a student and a shaper of complex legal environments, ensuring that technology deployments respect the nuanced realities of law firm operations. You will be accountable for discovering, validating, and prioritizing use cases that deliver measurable efficiency gains for clients and tangible value for our business. What you'll do
- Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with partners and management committees at global law firms to uncover latent needs and high-impact opportunities for AI integration.
- Architect and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of client deployments, coordinating discovery, workflow design, iterative testing, and firm-wide implementation.
- Synthesize qualitative user feedback and quantitative usage data to define clear product requirements and prioritize roadmap initiatives for the legal AI platform.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, legal operations, and innovation teams to ensure seamless integration of the platform into the daily fabric of legal practice.
- Translate complex legal concepts and procedural nuances into actionable product guidance for engineering and design teams.
- Advise clients on the strategic business impact of AI, covering sensitive domains such as M&A, litigation, regulatory matters, and transactional work.
- Develop and maintain deep domain expertise in the legal technology ecosystem, assessing how new tools align with existing workflows and client expectations.
- Contribute to the design of new operating models for the legal industry, leveraging AI to reimagine how work is structured, staffed, and delivered.
- Champion a bias for action within the product team, ensuring that solutions are delivered with a focus on high-quality user outcomes and rapid iteration.
- Represent the product vision in cross-functional discussions, aligning stakeholders around shared objectives for adoption and value realization.
- Evaluate the scalability of proposed features, ensuring that workflows are designed to function effectively across different practice groups and jurisdictions.
- Partner with engineering to define technical constraints and possibilities, fostering a shared understanding that enables efficient development cycles.

Requirements
- You possess a professional background honed within a top-tier law firm or within an in-house legal department of significant scale.
- You demonstrate the ability to manage multiple client engagements concurrently without compromising the quality of your work or your judgment.
- You communicate with exceptional clarity and precision to diverse stakeholders, including partners, associates, engineers, and chief information officers.
- You exhibit a strong technical curiosity, enabling you to discuss generative AI architectures, privacy implications, governance frameworks, and enterprise software deployment with confidence.
- You maintain a bias for action, consistently focusing on delivering high-quality user outcomes and tangible value rather than theoretical discussions.
- You are comfortable operating in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, making decisions with incomplete information while remaining rigorous in your analysis.
