Sr. AI Enablement Engineer

About the role

Harvey is building an enterprise platform that integrates agentic AI into professional and legal services. We are looking for a senior technical partner to join our BizTech team to design, deploy, and manage AI-driven workflows across our internal departments. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between enterprise teams and the AI platform, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business outcomes. You will own the development and oversight of AI-powered workflows for Finance, Legal, People, and Workplace functions, embedding governance into every deployment. You will establish security and publishing standards for our internal plugin and skill marketplace, creating guardrails that enable innovation without compromising risk. Additionally, you will build and maintain the roadmap for Model Context Protocol and enterprise system integrations, guiding the evolution of our integration strategy. You will evaluate new agent frameworks and model capabilities to determine internal adoption, balancing technical merit with operational feasibility. Finally, you will prototype reference architectures that allow internal teams to build their own automations, fostering a self-serve culture of AI-enabled productivity.

• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives that validate new technologies and approaches, providing evidence-based recommendations for enterprise-scale rollout.
• Coordinate with security, legal, and compliance partners to ensure that all AI and integration initiatives meet regulatory and contractual obligations.
• Drive documentation and knowledge transfer for all AI workflows and integrations, ensuring continuity and clarity for ongoing operations.
• Act as an evangelist for the Model Context Protocol, exploring and promoting its adoption to simplify and unify system integrations across the company.

Requirements

• Bring 5+ years of software or integration engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions in production environments.
• Apply 2+ years of experience integrating SaaS platforms such as ERP, HRIS, and contract management tools, demonstrating fluency in multi-system orchestration.
• Demonstrate proficiency with API patterns, OAuth, identity management, and webhook architectures, with a deep understanding of how these mechanisms secure and scale integrations.
• Show experience shipping production-grade applications that interact with LLMs, including work in prompt engineering or agent workflows, highlighting your operational mindset.
• Exhibit familiarity with the Model Context Protocol or similar tool-integration frameworks, indicating a head start in leveraging standardized integration approaches.
• Maintain strong operational background in CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and system observability, ensuring that solutions are reliable, traceable, and maintainable.
• Possess the ability to conduct vendor security and privacy reviews, including DPA analysis and data flow assessments, to protect enterprise data and mitigate risk.
• Demonstrate capacity to work effectively in a hybrid environment based in New York, balancing independent focus with collaborative teamwork.

• Proficiency with enterprise iPaaS solutions, indicating familiarity with middleware that connects disparate systems at scale.
