What you'll do

• Execute non-destructive testing protocols on ferrous and non-ferrous materials, strategically employing radiographic, ultrasonic, penetrant, magnetic, and visual methods to validate conformity.
• Configure and calibrate sophisticated inspection apparatus, meticulously documenting all procedural calibrations to guarantee traceability and instrument reliability.
• Analyze inspection readouts and indications, making definitive judgments by referencing intricate engineering schematics, technical documentation, and rigorous industry codifications.
• Synthesize comprehensive inspection narratives, compiling precise records that detail methodologies, observations, and conclusive findings in a clear format.

Requirements

• Accumulate a minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience conducting non-destructive testing, demonstrating proficiency across a spectrum of inspection methodologies.
• Present current, verifiable Level II certifications for Radiographic Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, or Visual Testing, as applicable to the role.
• Hold a valid and active IRRSP certification, evidencing adherence to the highest standards of radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
• Exhibit a proven capacity to accurately interpret inspection outcomes and seamlessly apply relevant codes, standards, and technical specifications without constant supervision.
• Show a demonstrated willingness to travel to various industrial sites as required by project demands and operational needs.
• Operate effectively within challenging industrial environments, maintaining independence and reliability in dynamic and sometimes hazardous settings.
• Adhere strictly to ITAR compliance regulations, which necessitate that applicants be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or possess the necessary security authorizations.
• Thrive in a setting that values precision, where attention to detail directly correlates with the safety and quality of manufacturing deliverables.
• Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to ethical practices and the accurate reporting of all inspection data, regardless of findings.
