About the role

What you'll do

• Execute nondestructive testing using MT, PT, UT, RT, and VT methods on various material types.
• Calibrate, configure, and operate testing hardware while maintaining strict traceability.
• Compare inspection findings against technical drawings, specifications, and industry codes.
• Generate precise inspection documentation and maintain comprehensive records.
• Work alongside engineering and operations teams to uphold quality standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in nondestructive testing.
• Documented Level II certifications in MT, PT, UT, RT, and VT.
• Active IRRSP certification.
• Proficiency in interpreting inspection data against technical codes and specifications.
• Ability to work independently and travel as needed within industrial settings.
• Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual.
• Capability to read, understand, and apply relevant engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy.
• Willingness to adhere to strict quality management system procedures and controls.
• Reliability in maintaining equipment and ensuring proper calibration is upheld at all times.

Nice to have

• Background in aerospace, defense, energy, or other high-consequence manufacturing sectors.
• Experience providing guidance or mentorship to Level I technicians.
• Proficiency with electronic quality management or digital inspection reporting systems.
