What you'll do
- Execute the work posted for the Senior Web Designer position at Greenlight, translating strategic goals into high-fidelity web interfaces.
- Adhere to the practical constraints and operational notes outlined in internal briefs and project documentation.
- Lead the design of responsive web experiences that adapt seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile touchpoints for family users.
- Translate research insights, user interviews, and product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs in Figma.
- Partner with Product Managers to define layout structures and interaction flows that align with roadmap priorities and release timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Brand and Marketing teams to ensure visual clarity, tone, and consistency across all customer-facing web surfaces.
- Guide iterative improvements by analyzing user behavior data, conducting usability testing, and incorporating direct family feedback.
- Design accessible interface components that enable safe and confident exploration for children within trusted family account settings.
- Work with Engineering teams to translate design systems into front-end code, ensuring accurate implementation and pixel-perfect delivery.
- Define onboarding and educational flows that help seniors navigate new financial tools with reduced friction and increased understanding.
- Balance brand expression with functional requirements to maintain a cohesive experience across marketing and product environments.
- Support the creation of design documentation and component libraries that promote scalability and consistency over time.
- Prioritize design opportunities that remove friction from everyday money management tasks for parents and children.
- Evaluate emerging patterns in family technology and propose design adaptations that keep Greenlight experiences modern and intuitive.
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews and provide clear rationale for design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of three years of professional experience in digital product design with a focus on web interfaces.
- Present a robust portfolio showcasing responsive web projects that demonstrate understanding of family-centered user needs.
- Communicate design decisions effectively through both written documentation and verbal presentations to varied audiences.
- Navigate complex business requirements while consistently placing user needs at the center of interface decisions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Figma as the primary tool for crafting and delivering design solutions.
- Exhibit strong collaboration skills when working with Product Management, Engineering, Brand, and Marketing teams.
- Maintain attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality visual and interactive designs under schedule.
