About the role
The Finance Systems team is responsible for the upkeep and enhancement of the infrastructure that supports financial planning, budgeting, and performance reporting at Grab. In this position, you will concentrate on the EPBCS application landscape, ensuring that our internal financial tools are both scalable and dependable. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our financial systems, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

What you'll do
- Manage and upgrade the EPBCS environment along with associated Oracle EPM tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement system enhancements that are in line with the strategic objectives of the finance department.
- Perform technical configurations and development tasks within the Oracle EPM suite to support various financial processes.
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues through comprehensive root cause analysis, ensuring timely resolutions are applied.
- Ensure the stability of applications while adhering to internal IT documentation and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the integration of Oracle EPM with ERP systems and other enterprise platforms.
- Conduct regular audits of the EPBCS environment to ensure compliance with best practices and internal policies.
- Provide training and support to end-users, enhancing their understanding and effective use of the financial tools available.
- Monitor system performance metrics and generate reports to inform stakeholders of system health and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Oracle EPM technologies and financial systems to recommend upgrades and enhancements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses that support decision-making processes within the organization.
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met efficiently.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in configuring Oracle EPM modules is essential.
- Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end project lifecycles specifically related to Planning and Budgeting.
- Hands-on experience with EPBCS modules, particularly in Financials, Workforce, and Capex.
- Proficient in writing calculation scripts and business rules to enhance system functionality.
- Skilled in managing planning artifacts such as forms, smart lists, task lists, and security configurations.
- Familiarity with ASO cubes, MDX member formulas, and data movement workflows is required.
- Technical expertise in Data Management, EPM Automate, and experience with batch or shell scripting is necessary.
- A strong emphasis on data validation and ensuring the accuracy of solutions delivered.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Knowledge of additional Oracle EPM products and their integration capabilities.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Certification in Oracle EPM or related financial systems is a plus.
