About the role
GovSignals is on the lookout for several Deployment Strategists to oversee relationships with federal agencies following contract finalization. In this role, you will facilitate the onboarding, activation, training, and growth of our AI platform for government clients. Your main objective will be to help these agencies realize tangible benefits, such as accelerated market research and timely acquisitions.

What you'll do
- Act as the primary liaison for federal agencies from the moment contracts are awarded until the platform goes live, ensuring a smooth activation process.
- Engage in discovery sessions with new agency clients to gain insights into their programs, contracting needs, and financial management, subsequently crafting customized deployment strategies.
- Convert acquisition workflows into specific configurations of our product, develop training programs, and outline a clear value proposition that includes shortened procurement timelines and enhanced obligation outcomes.
- Foster product utilization by embedding GovSignals into the daily acquisition routines of agencies, covering aspects from market research to post-award management.
- Encourage growth and contract renewals by documenting successful missions, showcasing improved time-to-award metrics, and identifying additional use cases across various program offices.
- Relay agency feedback to the product, pricing, and roadmap teams, transforming insights gathered from multiple customers into enhanced market strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the Product Engineering team to refine the platform and elevate the overall customer experience.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure our deployment strategies remain competitive and effective.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to agency clients, addressing any challenges that arise during the deployment process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the agencies to ensure alignment and satisfaction with our services.
- Prepare and present reports on deployment progress and client satisfaction to internal teams and leadership.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Federal Consulting, Customer Success, Professional Services, Implementation, Program Management, or Account Management, specifically with complex enterprise or federal clients.
- Proven experience working with federal agencies, government contractors, or organizations that support the federal government in customer-facing, operational, or strategic roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle and operational workflows, including requirements development, market research, solicitation, source selection, contract administration, and program execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to independently manage customer engagements and navigate complex challenges to achieve positive outcomes.
- Adequate technical proficiency in enterprise platforms, APIs, data flows, integrations, and product configuration processes.
- A background in GovTech, DefenseTech, federal consulting, military service, or federal civilian service is highly desirable, particularly in roles related to contracting, program management, or acquisition (e.g., 1102, PM, COR).
Nice to have
- Experience with software deployment in FedRAMP, DoD Impact Level, or other highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and the Authority to Operate (ATO) process.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.

Practical notes
This position is exclusively available to U.S. citizens and other U.S. Persons due to the sensitive nature of government work. The role is based in the Brooklyn Navy Yard office, requiring in-person attendance for at least three days a week, with approximately 25% travel to client sites for onboarding sessions and important reviews.
