About the role
The Operations team manages a global distribution network focused on authenticating products and fulfilling orders for a worldwide marketplace. You will join this team to support the intake process, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely delivery for our customers. In this capacity, you will serve as a critical link between acquisition and logistics, maintaining the integrity of incoming goods. Your work will directly impact the customer experience by ensuring that products are tracked and stored with precision. You will be responsible for bridging gaps between departments to streamline the flow of consignment items. This role requires a high level of ownership over the physical and digital movement of inventory. You will play a key part in upholding the standards of authenticity that define the marketplace.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Facilitate product transfers between Business Development and Operations to ensure correct account allocation.
- Manage the receipt of mail-in and drop-off Flight Club consignment items.
- Identify, document, and resolve issues related to Flight Club submissions.
- Report any discrepancies discovered during the product intake process.
- Assist with inventory accounting for all received items.
- Track and record upcoming bulk consignment drop-offs.
- Collaborate with the fulfillment team on receiving and packing products.
- Provide training support for GOAT and Flight Club intake procedures.
- Monitor workflow queues to prioritize tasks and meet daily processing targets.
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain data accuracy.
- Communicate with external partners to clarify missing or incomplete item details.
- Maintain organized workstations and storage areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Input detailed tracking information into internal systems to update order status.
- Support special projects related to intake process improvements and audits.
Requirements
- Ability to work full-time hours, including potential weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during peak periods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capacity to lift and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to adapt to increasing responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a large team.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship requirements.
- Access to reliable transportation suitable for the Fontana location.
- Compliance with company policies regarding attendance and punctuality.
