The firm's work is distinguished by a unique combination of precision and vision.</p> <p>Based in our Los Angeles office, the Contracts Coordinator will&nbsp;<span class="normaltextrun">be an integral part of the Client Value Department. The Contracts&nbsp;Coordinator&nbsp;will provide exemplary internal and external client customer service and support on behalf of the Department, while ensuring an adherence to firm and client policies.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>This role reports to the Contracts Supervisor.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Tracking&nbsp;and&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;the&nbsp;Firm's&nbsp;client&nbsp;contracts&nbsp;repository,&nbsp;disbursement approval database, and internal tracking system.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Categorizing&nbsp;and documenting&nbsp;incoming project requests received through the department's email inbox.&nbsp;</li> <li>Reading client guidelines and coordinating the review of&nbsp;essential&nbsp;clauses,&nbsp;terms&nbsp;and conditions.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Communicating with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract standards&nbsp;and&nbsp;timely&nbsp;contract renewals.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Addressing&nbsp;potential gaps&nbsp;to&nbsp;facilitate&nbsp;the negotiation process.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Reviewing&nbsp;and reporting on&nbsp;compliance&nbsp;with terms&nbsp;where necessary&nbsp;and drafting responses to client guideline documents for internal review and approval.&nbsp;</li> <li>Compiling&nbsp;and distributing internal monthly communications&nbsp;regarding&nbsp;client guidelines and agreements.</li> <li>Improving processes, reporting mechanisms, and finding ways to cut costs for&nbsp;the Firm and our clients.&nbsp;</li> <li>Fielding inquiries from&nbsp;internal stakeholders and providing corresponding documentation.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assisting&nbsp;with department projects as needed.</li> </ul> <div></div> <div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div> <ul> <li>Must have outstanding written&nbsp;and oral&nbsp;communication skills.&nbsp;</li> <li>Candidate&nbsp;should be a forward thinker and should be ready and willing to contribute their ideas towards the improvement of&nbsp;department&nbsp;processes.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Candidate&nbsp;should be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization including with C-Suite executives, Finance upper&nbsp;management&nbsp;and senior attorneys.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have a strong customer focus, be responsive, work well under&nbsp;pressure&nbsp;and continually strive for efficiency and excellence.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>An ownership mentality is essential for success in this position.&nbsp;</li> <li>Candidate&nbsp;must have the ability to balance multiple tasks with strict deadlines.&nbsp;</li> <li>Candidate&nbsp;must be able to adapt to change and remain flexible with current and future responsibilities.</li> </ul> <p><strong></strong></p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's&nbsp;degree is required.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Law&nbsp;firm&nbsp;or contract-related&nbsp;experience&nbsp;is&nbsp;preferred but not&nbsp;required.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>One year of related work experience is preferred&nbsp;but not required.</li> </ul> <p><strong></strong></p> <p><em>Gibson Dunn will consider for employment qualified Applicants with Criminal Histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of local law.</em></p> <p><em>Compensation &amp; Benefits:</em></p> <p><em>The annual compensation range for this position is $60 - 70k.
