Based in Los Angeles, Century City, Orange County, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Dallas, or Houston, the Conflicts Coordinator ensures the conflicts checking and clearing process functions efficiently and delivers platinum service to internal clients. This role upholds standards of quality, consistency, accuracy, thoroughness, and customer service as defined by the Department.
The Coordinator monitors shared inboxes and online requests, assigns tasks as required, tracks progress to completion, and performs other duties as assigned. This position serves as a resource for questions from Conflicts Analysts. It requires acute attention to detail, along with strong organizational and researching capabilities. This role reports to the Conflicts Supervisor. Note that candidates must be able to work within the Pacific or Central Time Zones.
Monitoring the Conflicts Inbox to identify rush and high priority requests.
Coordinating with other Coordinators to assign and delegate requests and transition work among the team.
Ensuring that requests are handled promptly while maintaining workload and overall flow.
Communicating with Assistants and Attorneys regarding questions on the status of requests, how to list parties, how to update requests, and other procedures.
Contributing to process, procedure, and technology improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
Coordinating and monitoring special projects as assigned.
Ensuring internal protocols and procedures are properly followed.
Serving as a resource to ensure that all conflicts reports are complete, consistent, accurate, and adhere to established standards and procedures for all conflicts of interest searches performed Firm-wide.
Following up on conflict issues with Conflict Analysts, Partners, the Conflicts Supervisor, the Office of General Counsel, and other Firm personnel as necessary.
Identifying and escalating unresolved issues to the Conflicts Supervisor.
Ensuring accuracy in searching and reporting tasks.
Coordinating with Analysts and other team members to meet deadlines, time-sensitive issues, and other challenges.
The annual compensation range for this position is $100-110k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Benefits for this position include health care, retirement benefits, and other standard firm benefits.
You own the full conflicts lifecycle, guiding cases across offices while protecting the firm and serving internal clients. Your precise work turns complex restrictions into clear pathways, and your calm collaboration keeps every team moving.

Engagement: Monitor inboxes and online requests, coordinate assignments, and track progress to closure.
Compensation: $100-110k annual.
Tracking priority items flagged in the intake queue and escalating time-sensitive matters to prevent bottlenecks.
Designing routing adjustments for incoming requests so teams receive clarified tasks aligned with capacity and deadlines.
Coordinating handoffs among analysts and assistants to maintain momentum while preserving accuracy across transitions.
Answering detailed status questions from teams and clarifying listing formats, update steps, and submission standards for each case.
Championing procedural and technology enhancements that reduce manual risk and strengthen consistency across searches.
Overseeing special projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring deliverables meet standards and stakeholders remain informed.
Upholding internal protocols so every report remains complete, consistent, accurate, and aligned with firm standards.
Guiding conflict analysts through complex issues and supporting timely resolution with partners and executive leadership.
Following up on open conflicts, gathering missing data, and driving closure in partnership with internal owners and outside counsel.
Confirming search accuracy, timelines, and documentation quality before requests transition to final review and approval.
You must hold a four year college degree and bring at least five years of conflicts experience from a large multinational firm.
You must demonstrate deep familiarity with legal conflicts concepts and related ethical rules, using them to inform every decision.
You must excel in critical thinking and analysis, making sharp, on the spot choices under pressure.
You must show strong people skills, thriving in team oriented, collaborative environments with attorneys and staff.
You must deliver excellent customer service, responding quickly and clearly to internal client needs.
You must work comfortably alongside attorneys and other legal professionals in a demanding, high pace setting.

Familiarity with legal conflicts databases such as Intapp, Dunn Bradstreet, and Aderant.
