Senior iOS Engineer
Job description
About the role
Senior Software Engineer, Geolocation Platforms
GeoComply invites applications for a Senior Software Engineer focused on geolocation platforms. This position is central to our technological evolution. Our company specializes in geolocation, cybersecurity, and anti-fraud technology. We serve global brands and regulatory bodies, providing solutions installed on over 400 million devices. These systems analyze more than 12 billion transactions annually. Our mission is to ensure compliance, stop fraud, and reduce friction for users. We operate across five countries on three continents with a growing global team.
The position involves modernizing our foundational geolocation infrastructure. You will reshape core systems that determine device location and combat spoofing. Your work will define the next generation of our security and compliance products. This role offers direct influence on global user trust and regulatory adherence. You will design modular components for precise location verification on devices. These modules must perform reliably under diverse conditions and regulatory demands. You will also build robust networking layers for high-volume fraud detection traffic. The systems must remain available across multiple time zones globally.
Rigorous code analysis is a core responsibility. You will verify logic accuracy and identify edge case failures before deployment. You will coordinate with data teams to validate rules engines and policy configurations. This ensures that fraud detection logic remains accurate and current. Refactoring legacy components is a key part of the modernization effort. You will transform older systems into cleaner, safer, and more maintainable structures. This work improves long-term stability and accelerates future development. You will partner with security researchers to test new attack vectors. Together, you will strengthen defenses against evolving spoofing threats.
Guidance is provided to product partners regarding technical constraints. You will align on strategic roadmaps while explaining platform limitations clearly. Your communication will balance technical detail with business objectives. You will ensure that all partners understand the implications of their requirements. The ideal candidate brings specific professional experience and skills. You must have three or more years building iOS applications professionally. You must demonstrate deep skill with Swift and the Apple development ecosystem. Understanding of network operations is essential for this role. You must know how devices determine location status in various environments.
Experience with real-time data streams and event models is required. You must have a track record of delivering stable releases on schedule. This role demands strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with location providers and map integrations is a valuable asset. Proficiency with our core tools and languages is necessary for success. You will use Xcode, Swift, and Git for daily development tasks. Experience with REST, JSON, and Protobuf is required for system communication. You will work with gRPC protocols and PostgreSQL databases. Docker knowledge is used for deployment and testing environments.
GeoComply offers a full-time engagement in this role. The position is based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Compensation for this role is 65,000,000 VND per month. Exact requirements and application steps are found on the official page. Please confirm all details there before proceeding.
