You will translate deep scientific insight into compelling commercial narratives that resonate with C-suite and R&D leadership across global pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations. This role requires you to build and own a multi-year strategic roadmap that aligns our long-term value proposition with the evolving priorities of life sciences innovators. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and shepherding high-value opportunities through every stage of the sales cycle with a focus on sustainable, long-term partnerships. As a senior commercial leader, you will consistently represent Genomics in front of the most influential decision-makers in the industry. You will leverage data and market intelligence to refine our positioning and ensure our solutions remain central to digital transformation initiatives in drug discovery and precision medicine.

What you'll do
Drive strategic new business by owning and closing the most complex and high-value opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
Engage at the deepest executive levels, building trusted advisor relationships with R&D, data, and commercial leadership within target organizations.
Position Mystra as an indispensable scientific partner, not merely a technology vendor, by aligning our platform with long-term customer innovation strategies.
Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles that navigate complex governance, compliance, and procurement processes within large enterprises.
Translate intricate genetic analytics concepts into clear business value propositions that directly address ROI, risk reduction, and pipeline acceleration.
Develop and maintain a sophisticated view of the competitive landscape, using insights to refine our market positioning and differentiate our offerings.
Own key aspects of sales operations, including rigorous pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and strategic reporting to executive leadership.
Act as the primary voice of the customer within Genomics, ensuring commercial feedback directly shapes product, science, and marketing initiatives.
Champion the integration of our SaaS platform and technology-enabled consultancy services as core components of clients' digital transformation roadmaps.
Build long-term account plans that identify expansion opportunities, mitigate risks, and maximize the lifetime value of strategic partnerships.
Influence the evolution of our go-to-market strategy by providing field intelligence on market trends, buyer behavior, and emerging use cases.
Champion our mission of advancing predictive and preventative healthcare by demonstrating how Genomics directly contributes to healthier populations and improved R&D outcomes.
Ensure commercial practices consistently reflect our commitment to scientific rigor, data integrity, and ethical collaboration with healthcare systems.
Act as a critical bridge between commercial execution and scientific capability, ensuring alignment between market demand and our platform's innovation roadmap.
Requirements
You have a substantial track record of senior-level SaaS, digital health, or enterprise technology sales into pharma or biotech, with demonstrable success closing complex, high-value deals.
You have deep experience engaging with R&D and research departments inside major pharmaceutical companies, and you navigate senior scientific and commercial stakeholders with ease.
You have a strong working knowledge of genetics or Genomics - enough to speak credibly and compellingly about what advanced genetic analytics can unlock for drug discovery.
You think strategically about markets, clients, and positioning, and bring that perspective into everything you do.
You're a self-directed, senior operator who thrives in a fast-paced scale-up environment and doesn't need a roadmap to find the right path.
A degree in life sciences, business, or a related field is expected; an advanced degree is a genuine asset.
You are comfortable operating across multiple jurisdictions and understand the nuances of selling into highly regulated environments.
You possess exceptional communication skills, able to tailor your message for both technical and non-technical audiences without losing nuance.
You have a proven ability to manage complex negotiations and build consensus among diverse stakeholders with competing priorities.
