What you'll do

• Analyze card transaction data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact performance and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into card performance metrics, including transaction volumes, approval rates, and fraud detection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of card processing systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis on transaction failures and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of card promotions and marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for optimization.
• Assist in the development of strategies to enhance cardholder engagement and retention through data-driven insights.
• Participate in the testing and implementation of new card products and features, ensuring they meet performance standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to card processing and payment systems to inform strategic decision-making.
• Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Prepare and present findings to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to card processing and data security.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems related to card performance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services or payment processing industry.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with card processing systems and understanding of payment industry standards and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in fraud detection and risk management.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
