What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to provide real-time insights.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform business strategies and operational improvements.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of BI outputs.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and best practices, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
• Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data infrastructure and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and analytics to continuously enhance the BI function.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions, offering insights derived from data analysis to support business objectives.
• Document BI processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
• Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with business goals and objectives.
• Engage in ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed to support various business initiatives and projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software for data visualization and reporting.
• Strong SQL skills for querying databases and performing data manipulation.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience in the financial services or trading industry is advantageous.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for advanced data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a BI team.
