Freshworks is on the lookout for a visionary leader to spearhead the architecture of our global Go-to-Market (GTM) operating model. This role is pivotal in aligning business strategies with technical execution, as you will be responsible for designing the systems and workflows that empower our commercial teams. Your expertise will ensure that our GTM efforts are not only effective but also scalable, ultimately driving the success of our organization.

What you'll do
- Transform overarching business objectives into robust technical architectures and streamlined operational processes that enhance efficiency.
- Develop future-state operating models aimed at boosting productivity while simplifying the customer journey.
- Take ownership of the long-term technology roadmap for the GTM ecosystem, which includes Salesforce and its interconnected platforms.
- Design comprehensive data, integration, and automation strategies to ensure seamless interoperability across platforms.
- Establish frameworks for AI-ready workflows and intelligent automation that can adapt to evolving business needs.
- Define governance standards and architectural principles that help minimize technical debt within the organization.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Engineering to ensure that technology initiatives align with desired business outcomes.
- Conduct regular assessments of existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of new technologies and processes, ensuring that all voices are heard and considered.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the GTM architecture ahead of the curve.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Report on progress and outcomes to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic goals.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Systems, Revenue Operations, Enterprise Architecture, or Sales Operations, particularly within a rapidly growing SaaS environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce and the broader GTM technology stack, with a proven track record of successful implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable systems that effectively integrate people, processes, and data for optimal performance.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end GTM processes, encompassing Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success functions.
- Expertise in API strategy, enterprise integrations, and data architecture, ensuring that systems work harmoniously together.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams, even without direct management authority.
Nice to have
- Salesforce Technical, System, or Application Architect certification, showcasing your expertise in the platform.
- Familiarity with tools such as Marketo, LeanData, Gong, Clari, Workato, Snowflake, or Segment, which can enhance GTM efforts.
- Experience in implementing AI-driven business capabilities that can transform operational efficiency.
- A background in leading large-scale commercial transformation projects, demonstrating your ability to manage complex initiatives.

- Proficiency in Salesforce and its various functionalities.
- Strong grasp of Enterprise Architecture principles and practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of the GTM Technology Ecosystem and its components.
- Ability to design AI-powered workflows that enhance productivity and decision-making.
- Expertise in Integration and Data Architecture to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
Practical notes
- This position is hybrid, requiring in-person attendance in San Mateo, CA, three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
- The annual base salary for this role ranges from $196,350 to $242,550, in addition to a target bonus structure.
