General Manager (South Korea)
Job description
The AI-powered OS for beauty, wellness and self-care
About Fresha
Fresha operates as an AI-powered platform for the global beauty, wellness and self-care sector. The company connects and powers salons, barbers, spas, medspas, fitness studios and health practices. Millions of consumers and businesses use the service worldwide. Fresha processes over one billion appointments to date, supported by 140,000+ businesses and 450,000+ stylists and professionals.
The company's headquarters are in London, United Kingdom. Fifteen global offices support operations across North America, EMEA and APAC.
Fresha provides a marketplace where consumers can discover, book and pay for appointments with local businesses. Simultaneously, beauty and wellness businesses access an all-in-one platform to manage operations. This includes business software and financial technology solutions for bookings, point-of-sale, customer records, marketing automation, loyalty, product inventory and team management.
The consumer marketplace enables partner businesses to unlock revenue potential. This occurs through online bookings and automated marketing delivered via mobile apps and integrations with major tech brands such as Instagram, Facebook and Google.
Fresha is seeking its first senior leader in South Korea. This position is not a traditional in-country management role responsible for an existing team or operation. The role requires building from scratch to turn market ambition into commercial reality.
You will be responsible for launching Fresha in South Korea. This involves building early traction, securing initial customers, shaping local market strategy and establishing operating foundations. You will help define in-market success before a larger team is assembled.
During the early phase, the role is highly hands-on. A core component involves direct sales execution. You will personally open doors, generate pipeline, lead commercial conversations, negotiate and close Fresha's first wins in South Korea. This is not a role where sales can be delegated at the outset. The company seeks a senior leader fully comfortable leading from the front and carrying direct revenue responsibility.
You will serve as Fresha's senior representative in South Korea. Success will depend on execution rather than title. You must move comfortably between strategy and action, external commercial leadership and internal company building, market insight and day-to-day problem solving.
For the right person, this represents a unique opportunity to build something meaningful at the zero-to-one stage. You will have the backing of a global business while aspiring to become a top-tier player in South Korea.
About the role
You will architect Fresha's entry into South Korea. The position converts raw market potential into early revenue through hands-on sales leadership. You will establish foundational operations and secure initial customer wins. You own the complete commercial journey from first contact to durable local market validation. Your work will define future team structure and strategic direction for the region.
