What you'll do

• Organize and lead various recreational activities, including hiking, yoga, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises, catering to guests of all ages and skill levels.
• Develop and implement engaging programs that encourage participation and foster a sense of community among guests.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in the maintenance and preparation of recreational equipment and facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a friendly and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other staff members to plan and execute special events, workshops, and seasonal activities that enhance the overall guest experience.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recreational programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of participation and feedback to help inform future programming and initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in recreational programming, event planning, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of guests.
• A passion for outdoor activities and a commitment to promoting health and wellness among participants.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to engage in outdoor activities, including lifting and carrying equipment as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience working with diverse populations, including children, families, and seniors.
• Knowledge of local flora and fauna, as well as outdoor survival skills, is a bonus.
• Familiarity with recreational software or tools for scheduling and tracking participation.
