You actively support inventory accuracy by assisting in the ordering and receiving of goods, safeguarding stock integrity and freshness. You maintain the visual and physical standards of the space, keeping the store beautiful, organized, and welcoming at all times. You contribute to a culture of environmental responsibility by embodying the purchasing philosophy in every interaction. You become a trusted hub for the community, using your curiosity about neighbors to deliver a strong sense of genuine hospitality.

What you'll do

Process and pack grocery orders methodically, ensuring accuracy, freshness, and careful handling.
Open the store systematically, checking readiness, setting displays, and preparing spaces for customer arrival.
Close the store thoroughly, completing end-of-shift procedures that secure inventory, cleanliness, and safety.
Assist in inventory oversight by supporting the ordering and receiving of goods, noting quality and availability.
Maintain the aesthetic and hygiene of the store, ensuring it reflects the brand's environment-forward standards.
Support the growth of emerging food and beverage partners by showcasing their products knowledgeably and enthusiastically.
Uphold the purchasing philosophy by helping customers avoid artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors, hormones, and GMO ingredients.
Engage with the community through curiosity and conversation, building connections that reinforce neighborhood trust.
Provide feedback on customer preferences and product performance to inform future inventory and merchandising decisions.
Demonstrate schedule flexibility by rotating shifts within the 7:00 am to 9:00 pm operating window as business needs require.
Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth store operations, clear communication, and consistent service standards.
Represent Flow Grocer as a knowledgeable, approachable, and values-driven team member in every interaction.
Requirements
You are legally authorized to work in the United States and do not require work authorization sponsorship from the company for this position right now.
You are at least eighteen years of age, ensuring you meet the legal threshold for responsible employment.
You can reliably commit to a full-time schedule, reflecting the store's operational needs and long-term role stability.
You possess clear communication skills that allow you to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
You demonstrate strong attention to detail, particularly in order processing, inventory handling, and store maintenance.
You show physical capability to perform duties that may include standing, lifting, bending, and reaching throughout your shift.
You are comfortable working a rotating shift schedule between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, including weekends and holidays as required.
You align with the brand's environment-forward philosophy and its commitment to avoiding artificial ingredients and hormone disruptors.
Nice to have
Previous customer service or retail experience in a grocery, specialty food, or hospitality setting.
Familiarity with local Fort Lauderdale neighborhoods, community dynamics, and small business culture.
Experience with inventory systems, ordering software, or point-of-sale platforms.
Knowledge of sustainable or environmentally friendly product standards and certifications.
Understanding of food labeling, ingredient sourcing, and health-conscious product selection.
Ability to speak more than one language, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
