The Senior Accountant owns the complete financial cycle for property portfolios, ensuring that data flows through a structured process of intake, construction, review, shipment, and partner validation. In this capacity, you act as a financial analyst, controller, and strategic partner to the business, translating complex information into actionable insights. What you'll do
- Organize raw transaction data the moment it enters the system each day, ensuring accuracy at the entry point before it propagates through the financial cycle.
- Construct detailed journals that track asset movements and adjustments, with precision for entries related to depreciation, revaluation, and capital expenditures to maintain an accurate historical record.
- Examine management and financial reports to verify accuracy before information progresses to executive dashboards or external filings, safeguarding decision-making processes.
- Ship complete financial packages to external auditors and reviewers only after documentation is thorough and compliant with standards, ensuring trust and reliability.
- Coordinate with partner teams across properties to ensure property-level entries are consistent and adhere to global policies, reinforcing a unified operational framework.
- Maintain close oversight of ledgers to prevent inconsistencies from forming in account balances and narratives, protecting the integrity of financial data.
- Support forecasting activities by using historical patterns and current trends to model future financial performance, aiding in strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Ensure all documentation meets internal standards, supporting audits, reviews, and regulatory compliance in every jurisdiction of operation to mitigate legal and financial risk.
- Serve as a financial analyst and controller, providing analysis that drives better operational decisions and aligns with the mission of oneness.
- Act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, translating financial data into actionable insights that enhance community-driven outcomes and measurable value.
- Validate the accuracy of property-level financial inputs to ensure they reflect the actual living experience and operational realities within the ecosystem.

Requirements
- Hold a minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience in a multi-site or portfolio environment, demonstrating a proven track record in complex financial processing.
- Demonstrate comfort working with multiple integrated software systems, navigating ERP, accounting, and analytics tools with ease and efficiency to support seamless operations.
- Apply consistent methods when handling complex financial entries, ensuring the approach is systematic, repeatable, and reliable under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Possess strong analytical skills, enabling investigation of discrepancies and reconciliation of accounts with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Commit to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information that impacts residents and stakeholders.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain financial concepts to non-financial team members across diverse locations.
