About the role
You will architect and define scalable, high-performance AI infrastructure solutions that translate complex customer requirements into robust technical designs. You will act as the critical technical link between Firmus product teams and global customers, ensuring our AI Factory and Firmus AI Cloud offerings are positioned strongly in the market. In this role you will leverage deep expertise in AI infrastructure to optimize designs for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across the entire model-to-grid stack. You will guide customers through complex digital transformation journeys, presenting sophisticated concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence. You will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and operations to close strategic deals and enable seamless implementation. Your work will directly influence how enterprises, governments, and educational institutions train and deploy AI models with unmatched efficiency. Ultimately, you will help democratize AI tools sustainably and affordably by shaping the infrastructure that powers the AI Factory.

What you'll do
Architect scalable and high-performance AI infrastructure solutions tailored to customer needs while balancing technical constraints and business objectives.
Collaborate with internal Firmus Engineering and Technology teams to develop detailed technical specifications and implementation plans for AI clusters that align with product roadmaps.
Optimize solution designs to achieve superior performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across compute, cooling, and energy management subsystems.
Engage with the Firmus global sales function to support RFP responses, proposals, and service contracts, ensuring technical content directly addresses customer requirements.
Develop and refine service level agreements in coordination with Sales, Operations, and Engineering to guarantee successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
Present complex AI infrastructure concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating model and grid requirements into coherent narratives.
Lead AI infrastructure projects from conceptualization through implementation, coordinating cross-functional activities to meet timelines and quality goals.
Assist customers in deploying and integrating AI solutions, guiding them through implementation and optimizing infrastructure for peak performance.
Identify gaps in platform technology and capability that affect service delivery, and collaborate with product teams on potential enhancements.
Translate emerging AI infrastructure trends and best practices into customer-facing guidance and internal recommendations.
Partner with operations to ensure alignment between solution designs and Firmus AI Cloud service offerings.
Support the creation of technical collateral, including whitepapers, reference architectures, and proof-of-concept plans.
Champion Firmus sustainability principles by embedding energy efficiency and responsible resource use into proposed architectures.
Act as a subject matter expert within the technical community, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders across regions.
Requirements
You possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related technical field, or you bring equivalent practical experience.
You have hands-on experience designing or deploying AI infrastructure, including GPU clusters, networking, and storage systems.
You understand data center concepts such as power and cooling, and you appreciate how these factors influence AI workload performance and efficiency.
You are comfortable working with both technical and executive stakeholders, communicating complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs and propose practical solutions under constraints.
You demonstrate ownership and accountability, taking initiative to drive projects forward and resolve obstacles collaboratively.
You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, emerging company where responsibilities may evolve quickly as we scale.
You are legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for this position.
Nice to have
Experience with large-scale GPU clusters and AI workload patterns is highly valued.
Familiarity with AI software orchestration and model deployment pipelines is a clear advantage.
Knowledge of energy management and liquid cooling technologies relevant to AI infrastructure is preferred.
Experience working with global customers in regulated industries is beneficial.
