In the position of Staff SAP FICO Analyst, you will take on the pivotal role of the foremost technical authority for Finn's essential financial systems. Your expertise will be crucial in steering the design and deployment of solutions within the S/4HANA framework, ensuring that all technical aspects meet high standards and best practices. This role emphasizes deep architectural knowledge and aims to uplift the technical capabilities of the entire team.

What you'll do
- Act as the main point of contact for resolving intricate FICO-related issues, providing expert guidance and solutions.
- Manage the design and architecture of the financial platform, making informed decisions regarding whether to build, configure, or utilize standard solutions, while ensuring all modifications are thoroughly validated before going live.
- Lead FICO workstreams during significant SAP transformation initiatives, which includes reengineering Record-to-Report and Controlling processes, as well as conducting quality assurance on deliverables from external partners.
- Regularly assess and improve existing financial workflows, ensuring alignment with SAP Global Standards and adhering to "Clean Core" principles.
- Provide mentorship to FICO consultants by reviewing their contributions, enhancing their skill sets, and developing comprehensive runbooks and best practices.
- Collaborate in the design of modern integrations using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to facilitate connections between S/4HANA and other systems.
- Take the initiative to identify and implement configuration changes, tools, or automation solutions that enhance efficiency and improve user experience within SAP.
- Engage in full-cycle implementations or major rollouts, balancing technical depth with high-level project management responsibilities.
- Foster a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely and effective resolutions to complex challenges.
- Cultivate strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across various functional teams.
- Maintain a customer-centric mindset, leveraging analytical skills to drive data-informed decisions.
- Participate in product development initiatives and apply Agile methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of practical experience in SAP FICO (covering GL, AP/AR, AA, CO) specifically within the SAP S4H Private Cloud environment.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP REFX is essential.
- Familiarity with integration points involving other SAP modules, such as MM, SD, and Subscription Billing.
- Proven track record in designing RICEFW items, including interface design utilizing SAP Integration Suites (CPI, BTP).
- A solid foundation in accounting principles, including IFRS and HGB.
- Experience in overseeing or quality-checking the work of external consultants or system integrators.
- A strong commitment to adhering to SAP Standards, with a focus on avoiding custom solutions to preserve system integrity.
- Experience in leading full-cycle implementations or large-scale rollouts, demonstrating comfort with both technical tasks and project management.
- A proactive and decisive mindset, skilled in addressing complex issues in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in mentoring or providing technical leadership to fellow consultants.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with a strong focus on customer needs and a desire to work in a results-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with product development processes and Agile methodologies is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP Treasury and Business Continuity Management (BCM) would be beneficial.
- Understanding of adjacent systems within the data chain, including Data Warehousing (DWH) and automation tools.
