About the role
Finch is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Product Analyst who will play a crucial role in managing operational workflows and monitoring service level agreements. This position involves close collaboration with engineering and product teams to convert manual processes into streamlined automated systems, all while maintaining high standards for data accuracy and reporting integrity. Your analytical skills will be essential in guiding our provider expansion initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Monitor operational performance metrics and service level agreements, promptly identifying any anomalies or failures as they occur.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses to address and resolve any breakdowns in processes effectively.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that provide insights into the health of operational workflows, ensuring visibility for stakeholders.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of provider connections, from the initial intake phase and data mapping to the final stages of automation.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and integration teams to minimize manual interventions and enhance process efficiency.
- Independently handle complex and ambiguous projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Document processes in a clear and concise manner to facilitate ongoing optimization and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring that operational processes align with business goals.
- Analyze data trends to inform decision-making and strategic planning, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in operational workflows.
- Assist in training team members on new tools and processes, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in business operations, product operations, or data analysis, preferably in the fintech or technology sectors.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, enabling you to query data, join tables, and create reliable dashboards for reporting purposes.
- Experience working with structured data formats such as Excel, CSV, and JSON, demonstrating your ability to manage and manipulate data effectively.
- Familiarity with Python for tasks related to scripting, automation, or data analysis, showcasing your technical capabilities.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong time management skills.
- Excellent written communication skills, essential for documenting and articulating operational processes clearly and effectively.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in payroll, HR, or retirement systems, providing insight into industry-specific operations.
- A background in technical support or API-based product environments, enhancing your understanding of system integrations.
- Proficiency in using Sigma for dashboarding and metric tracking, adding value to your analytical skill set.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses, particularly Snowflake, to support data management and analysis efforts.
- Experience in investigating technical issues using log analysis tools like Datadog, showcasing your problem-solving abilities.
- At least 1 year of experience working with multiple datasets, demonstrating your analytical versatility.
