About the role
Fin is seeking an analytical partner to support the Mindshare team in measuring brand awareness and early-stage buyer engagement. In this capacity, you will own the translation of ambiguous top-of-funnel objectives into concrete, data-driven insights that directly influence market presence and executive outreach strategies. You will act as the primary architect of measurement, designing structures that turn abstract goals into actionable intelligence. The role requires a deep partnership with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that data narratives support high-level business initiatives. You will manage the full lifecycle of reporting for brand marketing, content performance, and executive programs. This position is critical for establishing the quantitative foundation that informs strategic decisions at Fin. You will evaluate the outcomes of high-touch initiatives to identify meaningful engagement signals and optimize future investments. Ultimately, you will ensure that the impact of marketing efforts is rigorously tracked and clearly communicated to leadership.

What you'll do
- Manage reporting for upper-funnel initiatives, including brand marketing, content performance, and executive outreach.
- Create measurement frameworks to track the effectiveness of brand campaigns and their impact on audience consideration.
- Analyze the outcomes of high-touch executive programs and dinners to identify engagement signals.
- Design and evaluate experiments to test messaging, channel performance, and targeting strategies.
- Segment audience data by account tier, persona, ICP, and geography to ensure alignment with target buyers.
- Collaborate with Demand Gen, Sales, and Marketing leadership to align qualitative goals with measurable outcomes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into brand health and top-of-funnel performance.
- Partner with data engineering to ensure data pipelines support the accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer urgent questions from executive stakeholders and guide strategic pivots.
- Establish testing protocols to measure incrementality and validate the true impact of marketing investments.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear narratives that influence decision-making at all organizational levels.
- Monitor competitive landscape changes and assess their potential impact on brand perception and engagement.
- Identify gaps in existing measurement structures and propose enhancements to improve data coverage.
- Support the rollout of new initiatives by defining success metrics and baseline performance indicators.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional experience in marketing, brand, or general analytics.
- Deep knowledge of top-of-funnel metrics such as reach, awareness, engagement, and audience composition.
- Demonstrated ability to design A/B tests, holdout groups, and incrementality studies.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Ability to synthesize both qualitative and quantitative data into clear narratives for stakeholders.
- Experience partnering with executive-level stakeholders to solve complex business questions.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Minimum of 3 days per week availability for in-office work in Chicago, Illinois.
- Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate findings to non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working with ambiguous problems and evolving requirements.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
- Understanding of privacy regulations and data governance best practices.
- Familiarity with marketing technology stacks and attribution models.

- Proficiency in BI and visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Streamlit.
