Fin develops AI customer agents that manage service, sales, and ecommerce interactions for nearly 30,000 global businesses. This role joins the Research, Analytics and Data Science team to turn complex data into strategic product improvements. You will own the design and execution of advanced analytics initiatives that directly shape product decisions and customer outcomes. The position requires deep collaboration with cross-functional partners to translate ambiguous problems into rigorous analytical plans. You will leverage statistical modeling and experimentation to uncover insights that drive measurable business impact. The role emphasizes both strategic thinking and operational execution to improve how Fin serves its customers. You will be responsible for establishing best practices in data analysis and clear communication of results to stakeholders. Your work will influence the long-term roadmap for AI-driven customer interaction management across the organization.

What you'll do
- Collaborate with product teams to define critical questions and provide data-backed answers that clarify user behavior and business performance.
- Work with designers, engineers, and product managers to establish success metrics, set targets, and evaluate outcomes to ensure alignment with product goals.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines while refining data sources to improve reliability, scalability, and clarity of inputs.
- Coordinate with product researchers to create a comprehensive view of business and customer performance by integrating qualitative and quantitative signals.
- Guide product strategy and roadmaps through quantitative research, experimentation, and exploratory analysis that highlight opportunities and risks.
- Create automated dashboards and predictive models that enable stakeholders to monitor key trends and forecast future scenarios.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to the wider company using clear narratives and visualizations that support decision-making.
- Help improve the internal operations and foundations of the RAD organization by optimizing workflows, documentation, and tooling.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify new data sources and analytical methods that can address evolving business needs.
- Translate complex analytical results into accessible formats that empower non-technical teams to act on insights confidently.
- Monitor the performance of implemented models and dashboards, iterating based on feedback and changing product requirements.
- Ensure that all analyses adhere to data governance standards and contribute to a cohesive understanding of product health.
- Lead scoping sessions for new analytical requests, defining the required data, methods, and expected deliverables.
- Support the deployment of analysis into production environments, validating that results remain robust and interpretable.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of professional experience using data to solve problems and support evidence-based decisions in a complex business environment.
- Advanced SQL proficiency and experience applying statistical methods to analytical challenges involving large and diverse datasets.
- Demonstrated history of independently delivering actionable insights that create measurable impact on business outcomes and user value.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences through clear storytelling and structured communication.
- Proficiency in a scientific programming language such as Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling tasks.
- Growth-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership, taking initiative to identify problems and drive solutions forward.
- Experience working with high-dimensional data, including feature engineering, transformation, and validation to support modeling efforts.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make progress in fast-paced, dynamic product environments where priorities evolve.
