Filevine is seeking a senior technical expert to drive our most complex Enterprise and Strategic sales cycles. You will act as a consultant to large law firms, government entities, and corporate legal departments, bridging the gap between our legal AI platform and the specific operational needs of high-value clients. In this capacity, you will own the technical narrative of our product, shaping how sophisticated capabilities are articulated to influence purchasing decisions at the highest levels. The role demands a blend of strategic foresight and hands-on technical acumen to ensure that our solutions are perceived as indispensable assets. You will be responsible for de-risking the adoption of our platform for clients with complex legal operational landscapes. - Lead the discovery phase for complex sales cycles, conducting in-depth interviews to map existing workflows and pinpoint precise operational bottlenecks within legal departments.
- Design and deliver narrative-driven product demonstrations that translate intricate AI functionalities into tangible value propositions for executive-level decision-makers.
- Synthesize client feedback gathered during field engagements to provide actionable insights back to product and marketing teams, ensuring our messaging remains accurate and compelling.
- Architect, configure, and safeguard specialized demo environments, ensuring they reflect real-world scenarios for high-stakes strategic meetings and prominent industry events.
- Author sophisticated sections of RFP responses, leveraging your technical mastery to address nuanced legal technology requirements and security considerations.
- Develop and deliver advanced training modules for internal sales teams, equipping them with the knowledge to effectively discuss platform implementation and integration.
- Assume responsibility for end-to-end solution architecture during the sales process, articulating how disparate legal technology tools can converge on our platform.
- Navigate the complexities of enterprise procurement cycles, providing technical justification that withstands rigorous legal and financial scrutiny.
- Represent Filevine at critical industry forums, positioning the company as a leader in legal innovation through insightful speaking engagements and thought leadership.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews with clients to ensure seamless adoption and to identify further opportunities for workflow optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate technical constraints and opportunities into clear requirements that enhance future product development.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices for technical sales engagements within the legal sector.
- Maintain a current and exhaustive understanding of the Filevine platform to address highly specific and nuanced client inquiries with confidence.
Requirements
- You possess a proven background as a mid-level law firm associate, legal operations professional, or in-house counsel, with direct experience designing legal tools or automation systems that impact firm-wide operations.
- You have deep familiarity with legal technology and artificial intelligence, demonstrated through hands-on innovation projects or the development of knowledge management initiatives that improved departmental efficiency.
- You are adept at explaining complex technical and architectural concepts to non-technical legal audiences, ensuring stakeholders understand the implications and benefits of proposed solutions.
- You exhibit strong presentation skills with an executive-ready communication style, capable of commanding attention in rooms with General Counsel and C-suite leaders.
- You are willing to travel frequently, with a commitment to on-site client engagements and industry conferences that may require up to three trips per week.
- You hold a Juris Doctor degree or equivalent legal qualification, maintaining an active license to practice law in at least one United States jurisdiction.
- You have a documented history of managing sensitive, confidential, and highly regulated information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
- You possess the technical aptitude to quickly master new software platforms and integrate them into existing legal technology stacks without extensive hand-holding.
