About the role
Figma is seeking a marketing expert to guide how teams purchase, adopt, and expand their use of our platform. You will serve as the primary marketing partner for our Growth and Monetization divisions, managing the strategy and communication for billing and plan updates. In this role, you will own the narrative around value, packaging, and pricing for our core monetization initiatives. You will translate complex business objectives into clear positioning that resonates across buyers, admins, and executives. You will act as the central strategist who ensures consistency and clarity in all monetization-related communications. You will be responsible for aligning product, sales, and marketing teams around a unified go-to-market vision. You will drive the end-to-end marketing lifecycle for new monetization products and major billing changes.

Salary: $153,000 to $317,000 USD annually

What you'll do
- Direct the full lifecycle of product marketing for pricing, billing, and monetization, including messaging and launch planning for new offerings.
- Produce clear, accessible documentation and communications to help buyers and admins understand billing changes.
- Create go-to-market strategies for enterprise-level features, ranging from new product introductions to existing feature updates.
- Provide the sales organization with the necessary collateral and training to effectively position enterprise capabilities and secure new business.
- Partner with broader marketing teams to execute campaigns focused on user onboarding, activation, and retention.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine positioning and messaging for monetization products.
- Collaborate with product managers to define product value propositions and support roadmap decisions.
- Develop business cases and ROI stories that align product features with customer pain points.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on launch objectives and success metrics.
- Own the creation of sales playbooks, battle cards, and demo scripts tailored to enterprise buyers.
- Coordinate with customer success to incorporate feedback into ongoing marketing initiatives.
- Track and report on key performance indicators to measure the impact of marketing programs.
- Translate technical billing and AI features into language that resonates with diverse buyer personas.
- Drive the narrative around transparency and simplicity in pricing and plan management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of product marketing experience, specifically with enterprise customers and the launch of new products or monetization models.
- Proven ability to write effective customer-facing communications regarding high-stakes topics like pricing and billing.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional go-to-market projects from initial strategy through to final measurement.
- Experience working closely with product teams and maintaining alignment with executive leadership.
- Ability to navigate and simplify complex topics, such as admin workflows, billing logic, or AI features.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous priorities and shifting deadlines.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person meetings or customer visits as needed.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Background in marketing to IT, procurement, or admin personas at large organizations.
- Experience working with usage-based or consumption-based pricing structures.
- Experience marketing AI-powered products or features.
