In this position, you will be responsible for managing a specific product area within our platform, focusing on developing features, workflows, and capabilities that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. What you'll do
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, pain points, and operational contexts related to your product area by engaging with users, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Conduct research and synthesize feedback from various sources, including customer interviews, support tickets, and operational data, to identify key issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Design, Customer Support, and Operations to identify opportunities for workflow enhancements, friction reduction, and feature development.
- Monitor the performance of your product area by tracking relevant metrics, analyzing trends, and identifying areas where improvements can lead to increased efficiency or customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development of the product roadmap by translating strategic goals into specific projects, features, and requirements that align with business priorities.
- Create and maintain a framework for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that measure the success and impact of your initiatives, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Build compelling business cases for new features or improvements, clearly articulating customer value, expected outcomes, and resource requirements to gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Draft detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for roadmap items, ensuring clarity and feasibility for Engineering and Design teams to execute effectively.
- Assess potential trade-offs, risks, and dependencies associated with project scope and sequencing, collaborating with teams to find practical and timely solutions.
- Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams through regular communication, meetings, and updates, ensuring alignment on priorities and expectations.
- Lead project planning sessions, prioritize tasks, and facilitate discussions to ensure all team members understand project scope and deliverables.
- Keep stakeholders informed about project status, milestones, and potential risks, proactively addressing issues to prevent delays or misalignment.
- Coordinate product launches by working with Marketing, Customer Support, and Operations to ensure readiness, proper communication, and smooth deployment.
- Analyze post-launch metrics and user feedback to evaluate the impact of new features or changes, informing future iterations and roadmap adjustments.
- Travel up to 10% annually for team collaboration, customer research, or stakeholder meetings, supporting ongoing alignment and understanding of customer needs.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in product management, preferably within B2B software, e-commerce, or platform environments.
- Proven experience managing a defined product area from initial discovery through to delivery, including drafting detailed requirements and tracking outcomes.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and working closely with Engineering and Design teams to deliver features on time and within scope.
- Strong ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, gaining credibility through effective communication and collaboration.
- Experience utilizing customer insights, operational data, and metrics to prioritize features, evaluate changes, and measure success.
- Knowledge of defining, monitoring, and analyzing product metrics, including leading indicators and business outcomes, to inform decision-making.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable requirements and communicate effectively across teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess trade-offs and develop practical solutions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

- Experience working in the manufacturing industry or with digital platform solutions.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar software.
- Knowledge of the ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance requirements, as relevant to the role.
