About the role
Fictiv is on the lookout for a committed Associate Customer Program Manager to join our Injection Molding team. This role is pivotal in managing relationships with US clients, guiding them through the entire process of injection molded part projects, from the initial prototype phase to large-scale production. You will work closely with various internal teams to ensure that projects are executed successfully while keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront of your efforts.

What you'll do
- Act as the primary liaison for customers involved in injection molding projects, building and nurturing relationships to facilitate a seamless transition from tooling development to production.
- Provide support to clients on various facets of injection molding, including tooling design, manufacturability considerations, first article inspections, and scaling production, ensuring that all teams are aligned throughout the process.
- Manage multiple injection molding projects concurrently, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet customer expectations regarding quality and delivery schedules.
- Gather and communicate essential information such as design intent, DFM insights, tooling requirements, molding specifications, and quality standards to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with sales teams, tooling engineers, manufacturing partners, and quality assurance personnel to troubleshoot issues and improve program results.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of injection molding projects, ensuring compliance with project scope, quality standards, and timelines.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements related to injection molding execution and customer interactions, working alongside cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or Tool Engineering is required. A diploma or advanced certification in Tool & Die or Tool Engineering from recognized institutions is also acceptable. An MBA is considered a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management related to injection molding, manufacturing operations, supply chain management, or customer service within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth understanding of injection molding processes, including tooling development, design for manufacturability, production scaling, and quality assurance practices.
- Proven experience with new product introduction (NPI) initiatives, prototype tooling, bridge tooling, and production injection molding is essential.
- Previous engagement with global manufacturing partners or contract manufacturers is advantageous.
- Possession of a PMP or project management certification, along with knowledge of program management methodologies, is beneficial.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a dynamic setting are crucial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in an understandable manner for customer updates. Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Experience working with US-based clients or during US business hours is preferred.
- A proactive, self-driven attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability is essential.
- A willingness to learn and develop within the manufacturing industry and new product development processes is crucial.

Practical notes
- Work hours are from 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM IST, Monday through Friday, aligning with US Pacific business hours.
- This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring three nights in the office and two nights working remotely.
