As an , you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with engineers from some of the most forward-thinking companies worldwide. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that intricate products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. This position is crucial for connecting various teams, including Sales, Quality, Logistics, and C&DFM, to ensure program alignment and maintain customer confidence.

What you'll do
- Establish and nurture relationships with internal teams while engaging with customers to deliver outstanding service.
- Track and report on program milestones across various platforms, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are consistently met.
- Identify and mitigate process inefficiencies and risks by leveraging your knowledge of manufacturing and operations, driving necessary improvements.
- Promote collaboration across different functions to boost program efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer change requests and project updates across both internal and external platforms, ensuring all stakeholders remain informed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date program status across multiple systems to support informed business decision-making.
- Travel approximately 10% of the time within the U.S. for customer visits, team meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Analyze program performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring continuous enhancement of processes.
- Facilitate regular meetings with cross-functional teams to review project progress and address any challenges.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in program management and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, or at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication abilities, with experience working within diverse, cross-functional global teams.
- A self-driven individual who is eager to learn, continuously improve, and achieve operational excellence.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC Machining, 3D Printing, Injection Molding, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Die Casting, or Assembly.
- Technically adept, with a keen interest in leveraging AI tools and automation to improve workflows and performance.
Nice to have
- Experience in a customer-facing role within global manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations, particularly with respect to ECCN classifications like 9A515.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in project management software and tools commonly used in manufacturing settings.
- Skilled in data analysis tools and methodologies relevant to program management.
- Comfortable using collaboration tools to facilitate communication and project tracking.
Practical notes
- Ability to work at a desk for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Willingness to travel 20 to 25% for customer and manufacturing facility visits.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $100,000, depending on experience.
